The
Emergency Beacon Program
The City of Wentzville in partnership with the Wentzville Area
Senior Services (WASSI) and Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA)
has collaborated to bring the residents of Wentzville the Emergency
Beacon Program.
The Emergency Beacon Device turns an everyday porch or window light
into a FLASHING BEACON to help Emergency Responders find your home
when answering 911 calls. The time saved in finding the location
of the emergency because of the BEACON, could be a lifesaver.
Emergency Beacon Devices will be provided FREE of charge to Wentzville
Seniors (over 60), medically disabled and veterans through a start
up grant provided by AT&T. Emergency Beacons may
be picked up the last Tuesday of each month, between 10:30 and 11:30
am, at the Green Lantern Senior Center, 506 S Linn, Wentzville,
63385.
